Kinistino School Community Council Our School Community Council consists of two permanent members, the school principal and vice principal, as well as parents and community members. We also have seats for a secondary student and a first nations representative, which we would love to fill. Our council will work most effectively if it reflects the makeup of our school and community. Keeping this in mind, from time to time we will be calling on business people and community members to help us identify areas for improvement and ways to do such. The Kinistino School Community Council members are as follows: Chairperson – Regan Sandness Vice Chairperson – Carrie Porter Secretary – Lisa Richards School Division Rep – Bill Yeaman Member – Tara Nelson Member – Gina Klamot Member – Shannon Borsa Member – Sarah Helm School Rep – Jennifer Kulchar School Rep – Greg Walker The council usually meets once a month during the school year. The purpose of School Community Councils is to: develop shared responsibility for the learning success and well being of all children and youth; and, encourage and facilitate parent and community engagement in school planning and improvement processes.
